Hello, Katie here!
I just finished packing for our trip and I cannot believe that it is finally here! I feel like I've been waiting forever for this day to arrive and it's crazy to think that today is the day. I am a little nervous about flying for 8 hours but I plan to try to sleep (God willing my excitement and nerves will subside for some sleep). I am very excited to see Measure for Measure in the Swan Theatre at the Royal Shakespeare Company and tour all of the Shakespeare properties. I also hope to see as many other shows as I am able to while we are there because I want to get the most out of this trip. I plan to move out to England and work someday in my career, therefore I want to immerse myself as much as possible in the short 2 weeks we have. I'm also excited to be surrounded by incredible British dialects for the next 2 weeks! I am a sucker for a good dialect.
Here's to many great experiences to have and memories to be created and shared in the next two weeks!!!
